Here is a quick reminder that the EWSA AGM is taking place this Wednesday evening. It would be lovely to see a few faces there.
For those who are not aware , EWSA is the organisation that manages the club house and facilities that we all operate out of. It is entirely volunteer led and would be lovely to see you support this event.

In other news please sign up for training over the next few weeks. As we come into holiday season it would be good to have a sense how busy session will be over August so that coaches can plan appropriately. Please add a 1 or 0 to the training register for all of the next month to help with planning.

Hello EWSA Delegates and Members

The Exe Wayer Sports Association AGM will take place on Wednesday 17th July 2024 at 7pm. This will be at the EWSA Club House, 62 Haven Rd.

As is usual, all committee positions are open for nominations these positions include:

  *   President
  *   Chair
  *
Treasurer
  *   Secretary

We will require each club to nominate two delegates who will be part of the EWSA commitee.

In addition, there are some positions that are required for EWSA to function, these roles do not require you to attend EWSA meetings (though you may be invited to some) but enable EWSA to fulfil its duties to its members, insurance and rental agreements. We would really value nominations for these roles which include:

  *   Health and Safety
  *   Welfare
  *   Maintenanc
  *   Independent Examiner (for Finance audit prior to the AGM)
  *   Fundraising coordinator

Please pass this Calling Notice to your members and encourage them to attend and find out more about how EWSA operates. Now, more than ever we are in need of our constituent clubs to support the operations of EWSA. Without EWSA there is no buildings or facilities to operate out of, no ability to store boats and have training or social events in Exeter.

EWSA is run by its members for its members and we need support.
