Hi All

With nationals just around the corner please action as necessary.

We are teaming up with members from Shadwell Dragons and Raging Dragons to enter crews into Open and Mixed racing across 200m, 500m and 2000m. Racing on the Saturday will be a number of 200m races and 1x 2000m race which will include 3 turns. Sunday will be a number of 500m races. Jason is liaising with the other crew managers, so if you want more detail speak to him.  A full race program will be circulated towards the end of next week when entries close.

Everyone needs to be a member of the BDA. You can buy a yearly subscription for £35 or day passes for £10 a day. Visit https://www.dragonboat.org.uk/ and log into the membership platform to purchase. (I have shared your membership numbers with Jason for those who are members).

With us now seeing changeable weather it is wise to pack for all eventualities, over the years we have had sunshine to storms. Changes of kit, coats, hats, sunscreen, camping chair, food, water and a sense of humour are all required. It's better to have it than not! There is a small selection of club kit available to purchase should you feel the need for an extra T-Shirt. The National Watersports Centre has a cafe on site along with changing facilities etc.
