You will see that the complete race programme is not available yet, just the plan for the day. Purple Warriors are competing in the open category, the first heat of which is at 9:00am. -------- Original message --------From: BDA <neil.pickles at thebda.org.uk> Date: 19/09/2024  20:43  (GMT+00:00) To: hayleybuscombe596 at btinternet.com Subject: Nationals 2024 info Hi All,Attached is the event info for Nationals this weekend, please ensure you share with all your paddlers, particularly the paddler parking information.It is great to see so many crews entered, this promises to be another big National Championships with 166 crew entries over the course of the weekend.Please also make sure you take note of the revised crew camp area which is now all on the lakeside tarmac area form the zig zag metal steps to the bottom of the lake.I have also attached an outline race plan so you can see when different classes of racing are scheduled over the course of the weekend.I will send out the detailed race program once it is complete.For 2000m we will be running Open & Mixed crews as a single race, you need to let Race Secretariat know prior to the race whether you are entering as Mixed or Open.For Seniors we will also be running Open & Mixed crews as combined races, again you need to let Race Secretariat know prior to the races whether you are entering as Mixed or Open, I have had answers from most, but not all crews.Mixed S20 crews are max 10 men, mixed S14 crews are max 7 men. Crew lists for S20 crews are max 26 names inc helm & drummer, crew lists for S14 crews are max 20 names inc helm & drummer.All Senior, Men & Womens crews need to have a helm & drummer that satisfies the relevant class criteria.Finally, can everyone please think dry windless thoughts too.See you all on Saturday, bright & early.CheersNeil Pickles
