The ExeCalibre Dragon Boat Club is a well established group, registered with the British Dragon Boat Racing Association (BDA), with members of all ages, male and female.

The team train twice weekly at Exeter Quay and compete during the race season in National BDA race events all over the country, as well as taking part in charity events and Dragon Boat festivals. The club is looking to build on the success experienced over the last few years, when we won trophies experienced a team best in the 200m races at the national finals in Nottingham as well as currently being at the top of our league. Some of our members are also involved with the Great Britain Team with several being previous members of the GB Senior Women’s team as well as those who are currently in training for the GB Premier Women, GB Juniors, and GB Seniors!

These 40 foot long boats are used for two 1 and a half hour training sessions on the Exeter canal and river every week, for 50 weeks of the year. They are also used for racing, corporate and charity events, maximising the exposure. They are naturally highly visible during transit to events and are very noticeable due to their novelty value. The boats are also visible to passers by on Exeter Quay when the boats are not in use. The club t-shirts, sweatshirts and racing strip are another area where your name can be placed. These are worn at all racing and training events and also casually outside of training. Your name can be put onto paddle blades to maximise the brand effect.
